Drawing a Transport Vehicle

Using pen tool draw shape as shown below and fill with darker shade of gray.

Again draw a shape using pen tool. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Create a thin rectangle using rectangle shape tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Create another vertical line and apply layre style shown below.

Using pen tool create a shape as shown below.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.This shape is going to be the inner most part of the web.

Move this layer below the line layer in layer order in layer palette.

Create more shape using pen tool and/or basic shape tools. follow the shots below for the layer style settings.

Using custom shape tool (U), create a circle frame shape. Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar.Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Create a circle using elliptical shape tool and apply layer style settings as shown.

Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T and scale it down. Remove the existing layer style and apply the one shown below.

Similarly create another circle within this circle and apply layer style shown below.

Create a circle using elliptical shape tool to create bolt & nuts of the tyres. Fill it with dark grey shade and place it as shown

Create a shape by the pen tool and fill it with black color.

Move this layer below the tyre layers in layer order in layer palette.

Select the layers used in creating a tyre and press Ctrl+G to group. Duplicate the group and place for the other wheel.

Let's finalize the transport icon by creating a number plate. Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Create another rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Create a shape by using pen tool as shown.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Move this layer below the line pattern layer in layer order in layer palette.
